CHEATA was set up within the Department of Clinical Engineering at NUH NHS Trust in response to the challenge laid out in “Innovation Health and Wealth - Accelerating Adoption and Diffusion in the NHS” to help the NHS become the best health system in the world by rapidly adopting new devices and technologies into practice. CHEATA is hosted by Clinical Engineering service at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The Centre for Healthcare Equipment & Technology Adoption (CHEATA) is part of Clinical Engineering at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. We offer a unique contract-based support service to clinical, academic and commercial med-tech developers to gather evidence for NHS adoption and to help our clients develop devices that are truly NHS-ready.
